Violently Impregnated

Everytime I come back to Phoenix, I hope there is a show at the Slurp. Easily my favorite show space/venue maybe anywhere. Violence of Humanity from Portland came through on tour and nearly got heatstroke on 9/5/10 in Tempe,AZ.

First time seeing these guys. One of my new favorite AZ bands

Great set again, they managed to make it through an Arizona summer warehouse show

drunk on straight edge

Touring bands, local bands and militant straight edge. We were put on notice. 10/3/09 at the Phix in Phoenix,AZ.

when I googled this band's name, a Hannah Montana video popped up as the main results. I pray to the imaginary god that they named themselves after that.

THE STRAIGHT EDGE BAND

an Arizona all star lineup of dudes who are still straight edge. militant and preachy, just how sxe should be

holdin it down

Tom V. was there in spirit

This was my first time getting to see Hashknife Outfit without them being Soda's backup. They were local support for Pushin' Rope. The show took place at the Rhythm Room 8/30/09 in Phoenix,AZ.

Hashknife covered my favorite Tom Vandenavond song and played some great originals as well.

The vocalist is an auctioneer from what I've been told and you can kind of tell in his vocal styling

Trap Butler

Gotta love summer shows in Phoenix at art spaces with no AC. 4 million other shows going on this night but I know I chose wisely seeing Landmine Marathon with Trap Them and other at the Phix in Phoenix,AZ 7/18/09

sound was a little off, but they debuted some new songs that sounded killer

second time in a week, 5th time in a year. way stoked off of this band right now

the monsters hold court at Green

Royal Monsters are a band I am about to become very familiar with. Featuring ex members of George Moshington, Where Eagles Dare and current members of Red Queen and Netzeah. On 7/17/09 at Green Restaurant in Tempe, they had their tour kickoff and EP release show.

these guys have great songs and great energy, stoked to tour with them!!

a night filled with Troubadors

This is the best lineup of artists I have seen this year besides MDF. Four individuals with haunting vocals and vivid storytelling ability took the stage of the Rhythm Room 7/6/09 in Phoenix,AZ.

This was the 4th or 5th time I have seen this guy play, and could probably watch him a couple times a week and not get tired of it.

I havent been captivated by a solo performance like this in years. Willy Tea had my full attention from start to finish and I will never miss a chance to see him play.

what more can I say about this guy. love his music

the only way i could ever describe Soda's style would be gypsy hillbilly, not that it matters when its this good
