3 continents

I can't believe I got to see Blasphemophager, and even more so I can't believe I hadn't heard Diocletion until that night. I was completely blown away. On 12/2/10 @ Plan B bar along side one PDX's most brutal bands, Weregoat.

These guys kill. Anyone that likes brutal, primitive death metal will likely go nuts for these guys.

For Chaos, Obscurity, and Desolation was one of my favorite records this year, so I was pretty pumped to see them leave Italy and come all the way to Portland.

All the way from New Zealand to crush.

Impreggonaut

Not much to say other than this show had one of the best local lineups I have seen in a while. GodAwfulNoise, Lago, and Impregnator are probably my 3 favorite Phoenix area bands right now. It also doesn't hurt that Intronaut killed as well. The show took place 11/4/10 at Rogue Bar in Scottsdale,AZ.

GodAwfulNoise

Ex members of Sunyata and Deadwrong. Both were good bands, but this is a great band. Stoked to hear more from these guys.

Brutal, catchy death metal. My first time catching them live and wasn't disappointed. They have a new EP out that you can get at Pale Horse Recordings

Currently my favorite AZ band

Hadn't seen them since the Void album. They have added softer vocal parts in some songs that still maintain their heaviness.

welcome to one hot orgy.....

On a 90 degree night, the venue was 130 inside. Drenched in sweat and dehydrated, but it didn't matter. Deviated Instinct finally came to Arizona on 9/8/10 and was well worth the wait.

Had never seen them but really like their split LP with TOAD. I recommend picking it up

These guys play out a lot and I never get to catch them. Good set.

Another reunited band that kills live.

grapes, wieners, and blood

Some of the best shows in Portland happen at houses, and my last house show as a resident here was a blast. AZ's Landmine Marathon came into town and destroyed. The show took place at the Grindzeebo 8/13/09 in Portland,OR.

Crowd went nuts for Landmine this time, great to see them finally get a rad show in Portland

Landmine/Funeral Pyre split release!!!

For the 2nd time in a week Landmine Marathon played a super hot art space in Tempe. This time was their release party for the split 7inch with the Funeral Pyre who were kicking off their 5 week tour. The bill was a mixed bag with uber tech death Vireamia, hardcore band Ready Resist, and a newer young metal band called Intestinator. The show took place at Modified Arts in Phoenix,AZ 7/22/09

1st time seeing this band. Great set, think they have some good potential.

I'm not a fan of tech at all, but these guys were super tight, and I know a lot of people would be way stoked off of them

the guitar player and I argued over who loves xButlerx more. I totally won

Landmine played some new songs that absolutely killed

Trap Butler

Gotta love summer shows in Phoenix at art spaces with no AC. 4 million other shows going on this night but I know I chose wisely seeing Landmine Marathon with Trap Them and other at the Phix in Phoenix,AZ 7/18/09

sound was a little off, but they debuted some new songs that sounded killer

second time in a week, 5th time in a year. way stoked off of this band right now
