Warwolves howl at Midnight
General Surgery tour was over and it was back to Portland for me. I got back just in time to get footage of the Warwolves, Ripper, and Midnight who played Plan B 5/15/09
Primitive fucking death metal. These guys kill, glad to finally have good footage. The entire performance is on my youtube channel
RIPPER
At the end of this video, the guitarist gets

Swedish Invasion pt7: Farewell after Midnight
The last night of the tour we pulled into Olympia to these lofts to find a large room at the top of the stairs filled with grafitti from the 40's and 50's. I had never been to a show in Olympia and thought it wouldnt be that great. I was so wrong about that. The show took place at the Cherry Lofts on 5/14/09 in Olympia,WA.
It was cool to see the Midnight and General Surgery tours intersect with one another. Midnight really got the crowd going and has somme catchy tunes. I finally picked up a record at MDF because they didnt have any at their shows.
Engorged made the crowd erupt. This was their first time in Olympia and I know it wont be their last after this night. New songs kill and Sean rocked out harder than I have ever seen.
Sad that this was the last night of tour. I have really grown fond of them as people which makes their music even more enjoyable. I recommend buying their newest album, as well as their old ones.
Swedish Invasion pt6: Organ
The only bad thing about heading to Portland is that Ghoul would not be joining us, the good news though was the addition of Engorged and Funerot for the last 2 shows. After a long night of driving from the bay, General Surgery, Engorged, Funerot, and Superbad played Club Satyricon 5/13/09 in Portland,OR.
Engorged played some new tunes, their new LP is going to be more than impressive

Swedish Invasion pt5: give Haight a chance
After having a nice day in the Haight, shopping for records and fanny packs, Ghoul and General Surgery played the DNA Lounge on 5/12/09 in San Francisco,CA
another great set and the last day of their portion of the tour
General Surgery were awesome as well and we even had a return of the nurses. They ended their set with Cremator doing a sing along

Swedish Invasion pt 4: Return to the Blue Lagoon
On 5/11/09 General Surgery and Ghoul played Santa Cruz, CA at the Blue Lagoon. The show was crazy, and numbskull masks were stolen.
GS played a great set and even had a guest appearance by Dr. Fairbanks of County Medical Examiners
Santa Cruz erupted for Ghoul, even demanding an encore. more videos of their set are up on my youtube channel

Swedish Invasion pt3: Homecoming
As some of you know I am from Phoenix,AZ. I suggested that this tour stop in my hometown, even though it was a pain in the ass. Luckily it up being rad even with the heat. The show took place at the Phix 5/10/09. Val took some great pictures you can see at NO CEILING PHOTOGRAPHY
make sure to add her or have her take photos at your shows
Sunyata are ex members of Warfair?, ETTS, Sea of Deprivation, and Conflict Resolution. They play grindcore very well
some douchebag hit Erik in the nuts during their set, too bad he didnt give him a viking sized ass kicking. General Surgery owned again.
Phoenix has anxiously awaited the arrival of Ghoul and were not disappointed.
