On November 23rd, 2008, Horna from Finland played at Rotture in Portland, OR. This was probably the drunkest crowd I have seen here so far.

BLOODSTAINED DUSK

Bloodstained Dusk is a black metal band from Alabama I believe. Their in between song banter was sort of hilarious as is a lot of black metal banter. They had a song with a kind of Manowar vocal intro that ruled.

HORNA

Horna was sloppy, dirty and pretty rad. They also had makeup on.

the Stench of Grimmmmnesss

Few things in this world smell worse than a WATAIN show, but what they lack in zestfully cleanness is shear brutality. these guys kill live and are the only band I have watched that can pull off the corpse paint without looking like European juggalos.
